Vocational Skills Training

We're all about training up and resourcing the local people in skills and trades. You know the saying.....Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

So many skills and trades have been taught over the years to people in and around the community, also to students from our previous Christian Training college so as they left to return to their homes in the rural north of Mozambique they had skills to pass on....

Here are some of them: Sewing, knitting, crocheting (with thread and with plastic bags of all things!) farming, tree management, thatching, woodwork, clay pottery, computers (believe it or not this is useful in rural Mozambique!), welding, building, tractor driving and many more! These will continue with the community being responsible for the project.
