Who's who in UK

Trustees:

Rev Robert Clifton: Robert is a retired priest living in Norwich. For many years he was the late Baronness Sue Ryder's legal PA and set up and managed some of the UK Sue Ryder Homes. He still has his fingers in various charitable pies.

Mr Bruce Debell: Bruce is a Commerical Manager for a global chemical manufacturer based in Switzerland and was one of the first UK volunteers to work at the project along with Alice in 1996, before running water and electricity!

Mrs Alice Debell: Alice is a mum of two girls and up until last year did the day to day running of Vila Maninga. Now she is based in Lausanne with her family.

Mrs Chris Knight: Chris is a retired RGN who has travelled extensively in Africa, India, Pakistan & Sri Lanka. She was Operations Manager for School Aid for 3 years and continues to support this and other small charities whose work is making a diffference to the lives of people in Africa and Sri Lanka.

Rev Joe Moffatt: Joe is a priest in Teddington. He has lived, worked and travelled in various countries in Africa.

Dr Johanna Thomas: Hanna is a Urology Registrar working in Oxford. She has worked at Vila Maninga a few times and has been involved with planning and implementing a basic health training course for the local community.

Director: Mrs Elizabeth Thomas: Elizabeth is a mum of two Primary school aged children and a foster carer in Oxfordshire. She runs Maninga in the UK in her spare time. She has worked at the project many times setting up various activities and programmes. 

Adminstrator: Mrs Jo Brayton: Jo does the day-to-day running of Maninga which involves the thanking and banking and much more. The rest of the time, Jo is a mum of 2 young children and involved in her local church. Jo spent a few months working in the Windward Isles and was involved in training others to do the same.

Of course, all these people are volunteers and give of their time willingly and generously.
