Medical Training

Life beyond school...

At secondary/technical school, many children will be trained in a vocational skill such as electrican or builder. But some children will choose to go on to do a further course, such as studying to be a doctor, nurse or a teacher.

In a population of 22 million, there are an estimated 800 doctors. The need is huge. In 2010 & 2011, we supported students with this fund through Doctors for Mozambique in the Beira Medical School at the Catholic University to enable young poor bright students to train to be doctors.
