Mai Eliza

Mai Eliza was looked after at Vila Maninga for a few years. She sadly died a few months ago.

Her story was tragic.

Many years previously she told us she fell down a deep hole and broke both her legs. From that she became doublly incontinent. She was never treated and she lived with the shame and pain and sadness. At Vila Maninga she was looked after and cared for and given back some dignity but we were so sad that she died this year. Here she was being given some soap and clothes for herself.
